Terms & Conditions

Our product

Morris & James product is all handmade by our Artisans at our pottery using clay from our site on the banks of the Matakana river. We work hard to faithfully reproduce each piece to its intended design but due to the nature of the processes, differences in the clay, glazes, firing temperatures and Artisan styles can result in subtle variations in the finished product. This contributes to the unique appearance of each of our individual pieces.

All products are given a final inspection and only those products that meet our rigorous technical and aesthetic standards are designated “First Condition” and made available for our normal On Line sales. However in ordering the product the Customer acknowledges that:

(a) variations in colour, glaze and size are an inherent characteristic of all terracotta and glazed goods supplied by Morris & James; and
(b) Morris & James cannot and does not guarantee that the goods supplied will be an exact match or be a perfect likeness to any images on the Morris & James website, or any goods bought previously from Morris & James (this applies for all goods supplied by Morris & James, including tiles, pots, wall art, kitchenware and homeware);
(c) The tolerance on dimensions is +/- 5%
