Presale Refunds Policy
This policy applies to presale purchases of The Clay That Connects Us Morris & James book.
Presale Orders & Payment
This book is offered as a presale item and is subject to a minimum order quantity.
If the Minimum Order Quantity Is Not Reached
If the minimum number of orders is not reached by the presale closing date (15 January 2026):
- The book will not proceed to print
- All order payments will be refunded by bank transfer, including shipping.
- We will request your bank account for the refund by bank transfer.
Refunds
Because this is a limited-edition book produced specifically to order:
- We are unable to offer refunds for change of mind
- We are unable to cancel orders once production has commenced
This is in line with New Zealand consumer law for made-to-order and limited-run items.
Change of Address
If you need to update your delivery address, you may do so at any time. Please contact us at marketing@morrisandjames.co.nz as soon as possible to ensure your details are updated.
Damaged or Faulty Items
If your book arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ).
